Breakfast Club

General Info

The Breakfast Club

New Ross Vocational College was a pioneer in providing the Breakfast Club every morning in the College, from 8.30 to 9.00am. Students can have a healthyy breakfast free of charge, before starting classes for the day. This is important for those students who leave home at an early hour especially on winter mornings. The Beakfast Club is funded by the Department of Social and Family Affairs and administered by the School Completion Programme in the school.

Subsidised Lunches

The College is also a pioneer in providing a healthy subsidised lunch daily for all students. Each student can purchase a lunch voucher daily which entitles them to a choice of lunch and drink for only 80 cent per day or €4.00 weekly.
This scheme is part funded by the Department of Social and Family Affairs and is administered by the Attendance Officer.

Study
Students are encouraged to avail of supervised Homework/Study sessions in New Ross Vocational College which run throughout the school term from 4.00pm to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday inclusive. All students are welcome to avail of this facility, but in the event of a big demand preference is given to exam classes.
