When children, assessed in Primary school as needing individual attention, come into the Secondary system the help continues in most cases. The number of hours the child is allocated is decided by the Area Psychologist from the Schools' Psycshological Service. Our Resource teachers have a specific interest in teh area of special needs and they assist these pupils in a range of subjects and in social and study skills. This help is given in consultation with the Learning Support teacher.
