Special Needs Assisting Skills

Course Duration:
One year full time or two years part time. This course aims to enhance the qualifications and career prospects of existing childcare practitioners. Successful completion of the FETAC Level 5 award may also lead into further studies at Institutes of Technology Universities.

Entry Requirements:
Leaving Certificate or equivalent
Mature Student (with or without Leaving Certificate)
VTOS students.

Increasing numbers of our students are getting places on 3rd level Social Science Studies courses.
